Never mind, but thanks for the help! I've finally solved the problem:
What happened is that because of the SWF's preloader (which is a mere few lines of text), the first frame loads and the scrollpane assumes that the maximum width and height of the swf is that of the preloaders
So I added some invisible shapes on the preloader to make up for the height and width of the actual frame with the actual content, so when it loaded it went into the perfect size.
