If i'm correct mysql is opensource and Oracle is paid, correct me if i'm wrong here.
Can anyone tell me the advantages the paid oracle has against mysql and vica versa ?

I think it will really depend on the usage of the database and the user that will be using it.
MySQL is really an open source and you only need a good hardware to store the data.
I think Oracle is very reliable when it comes to saving big company information.
