Any guru out here?

Am still learning 3D Studio Max as I speak. So far I've learned about meshes and polys. Right now I'm trying to make a rendering out of a friend's face.

How have your experiences been so far?

I've done a few basic things in the past, rendering a few things with the help of some tutorials, nothing fancy though.

But it sure is an addictive program

Yeah, especially when you're obsessed with 3D work!

I've gotten by a lot of TV programs in 3D renderings... I was first startled by that show called "ReBoot", then there was "Beast Wars: Transformers", "Heavy Gear", then it went on until "Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children" came. That was the best I've seen so far.

When I watch these shows, they motivate me to keep studying the field. Especially now that I've just learned the basics of Skylighting and Raytracing! They're hot!

You can't discriminate the power of 3D when it comes to web design... especially in this age, there's so much room for abstract 3D!

I sure agree with your comment here Thisn2s. Our time is in 3D age and if your web design has 3D in it, it would sure looks and cool and there will be lots of visitors even just those who are appreciating the good design of your web with 3D in it.

Anyway, I wish you good luck in your learning about 3D designing.

3D design in webhosting hmmmm... if it's not a business website maybe but otherwise i wouldn't recommend it.
