Starting With Rpg Maker

The first event you are going to need is the *Party starting position event*, simply side click where you want you party to start on the map you have made and select "place party starting position".

You can edit the map properties by side clicking the maps name and selecting "map properties", in this menu. You can change the maps size, and chipset, and also other parameters such as encounter rate. Also included in this menu is the "random dungeon generator" Which will generate random levels for you, saving time.
